Uganda

Citizens who are holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from Uganda do not require visas in respect of purposes for which a port of entry visa may be issued or by virtue of being a person contemplated in section 31(3)(b) [accredited in SA] for the period indicated and transit: 90 days.

An application for a port of entry visa shall be made in person at the VFS application center (Lugogo by-pass) (except for categories of persons exempt from this requirement as determined by the Mission), in terms of Regulation 9(2) of the Immigration Regulations where a person is ordinarily resident of holds citizenship in Uganda and shall be accompanied by the following:
i. Valid passport: a passport must be valid for not less than 30 days after the expiry of the intended stay. It must have two unused pages. A certified true copy of the passport must accompany the application.
ii. A fully completed application form (BI-84) signed by the applicant.
iii. Prescribed fee of USD61, in case of paying applicants.
iv. A valid yellow fever certificate and a certified true copy of the certificate.
v. A return or onward ticket.
vi. Proof of sufficient funds: to be proven by means of a 3 months original bank statement or certified copies thereof (to include the current month), to cover air flight ticket and living expenses during the sojourn in the Republic. Applications under the cover of a Note Verbal traveling to South Africa for official visits are exempt fr4om this requirement. Holder of Diplomatic of Official passports applying under cover of a Note Verbal for a private visit to South Africa must comply with all of the requirements.
vii. In case of attending an activity or an event, a letter will be required from the organization in Uganda and the host in South Africa under whose control the activity will take place and should also clearly stipulate the duration of stay in the Republic.
viii. Nota bene: Turnaround time for the finalization for a visa application shall be 5 working day, and the processing period may go beyond the 5 working days in case the application is queried, except for medical emergencies and other applications at the discretion of the Mission.
ix. Nota bene: Any applicant for a visa may be requested to be interviewed, whenever it appears necessary.
Mozambique

Kenya

Zimbabwe

The citizen who is a holder of a Zimbabwe national passport is not required to hold a vise in respect of purpose for which a port of entry visa may be issued or by virtue of being a person contemplated in section 31(3)(b) [accredited in SA] for an intended stay of 90 days or less.
Zambia

The citizen who is a holder of a national passport from Zambia is not required to hold a visa in respect of purposes for which a port of entry visa may be issued; 90 days per annum.
Botswana – Citizens who are holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from Botswana do not require visas. Botswana passport holders can stay in South Africa for a short period of time (for 90 days).
Malawi: Citizens who are holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from Malawi do not require visas. Malawian passport holders can stay in South Africa for a short period of time (for 30 days)
Eswatini: Citizens who are holders of diplomatic, official and service passports from Eswatini do not require visas.. Eswatini passport holders can stay in South Africa for a short period of time (for 30 days)

1. Visas: U.S. citizen visitors to South Africa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism, short business meetings, or in transit do not require visas in advance. Visitor visas will be issued at the port of entry in South Africa. If you travel to South Africa for any other purpose (e.g employment or study), you must obtain a visa in advance.
2. Two Consecutive Blank Visa Pages: South Africa requires travelers to have two completely blank visa pages in their passports upon every arrival in South Africa. You will be denied entry and forced to return to your point of origin if you do not have two blank visa pages.
